Sensory Friendly Solutions Online Course on Kajabi
The project
Sensory Friendly Solutions is a company dedicated to creating inclusive environments by providing education, resources, and tools to help businesses and organizations accommodate individuals with sensory sensitivities.
While working with their founder & CEO, Christel Seeberger, I have been able to use a wide range of my design and writing skills—content writing, course outlining and creation, video editing, course platform management and email marketing—and have learned a lot about myself along the way.
Working with Sensory Friendly Solutions has helped me as a freelancer minimize the sensory overload in my own environment, and led to higher levels of productivity and lowered the likelihood of burning out. This sparked an intense interest in learning more, which Christel allowed me to use in order to create a number of new courses for her program, as well as overhauling her newsletter sequence and how we interact with her audience.
The retainer
Having already invested time in learning video editing, this retainer uses one of the widest ranges of my skillsets. I started working with her to write content for her Business & Organizations newsletter, but have expanded my work since then to include:
Learning Active Campaign and their sequencing to manage multiple lists and tract audience engagement and interests.
Wrote a 10-month welcome sequence to automatically take all Business & Organization audience members through a pyramid of learning from the very basics of Sensory Sensitivities and Sensory Overload right through to the direct impacts on the audience. The whole sequence is automated, with integrated sales touches throughout the sequence so our audience isn’t overwhelmed by being sold to.
Due to issues with the current LMS (LearnDash on WordPress), I was able to move the whole LMS over to Kajabi instead, so we would have all of our emails, sales, and students in one place. And, most importantly, know that they were able to access their courses smoothly.
I facilitated the move of our current student base over to the new LMS platform.
While moving all of the courses over, I conducted a QA of the currently available courses (Sensory Friendly 101, Sensory Friendly Workplaces, Sensory Friendly Dentistry) and ended up rebuilding much of these 3 courses to ensure all content was up to the highest standard of learning for Sensory Friendly Solution’s current and future students.
I created all-new content for Sensory Friendly Swimming and their upcoming Sensory Friendly Events & Conferences, including the scripts, slides, videos and adding the courses online.
I’ve recently been involved in adding a dynamic email marketing strategy alongside their automated funnel, allowing us to increase our educational and sales touchpoints as new blog content and new courses are launched.
This has been the most rewarding retainer to work on, because I know how much of a difference having a sensory friendly environment can make on your life now that I’ve made the adjustments I learned along the way to my own life.
